All hospitals with General Surgical Trainees has a Supervisor of Training. The Supervisor oversees the trainees in their department and also assists the Trainers. There are 18 Supervisors of Training in New Zealand and they are all members of the Aotearoa New Zealand Training Sub-Committee.
