To apply for Hospital Accreditation for SET training or an additional training post, please complete a Hospital Accreditation proforma available on the RACS website. Please note that the accreditation fees charged by NZAGS will be less than that approved by RACS on their webpage.
Requests for new accreditations – either hospitals or posts, must be sent to NZAGS before 31st January of the year in which the post is required. i.e. for a post to be filled by a trainee commencing December 2019, the application must be received by 31st January 2019. Hospital Accreditation and Trainee Feedback Regulations
The Regulations establish the terms and conditions for the assessment and accreditation of training posts for the General Surgery SET Program and process of obtaining feedback from trainees on accredited posts.
