The NZAGS Executive meet every year to consider the strategic direction of NZAGS by updating the five year strategic plan. The resulting Strategic Planidentifies the following key areas:
Branding, image & promotion – in particular create a clear identity for NZAGS
Governance – ensuring that governance structures recognise NZAGS as its own entity
Education & training – includes ensuring all trainee experience a rural rotation
Workforce – particular attention on retiring and new consultants
