NZAGS is strongly affiliated to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in delivering training to General Surgery trainees and promoting Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

NZAGS works closely with General Surgeons Australia (GSA) on curriculum delivery and to provide governance of the General Surgery SET training program in New Zealand and Australia.
